Simple tools. Minimal usage data.
BudgLife does not require an account, email address, or registration to build a checklist.
Information saved on your device
Your questionnaire answers, exact budget, generated checklist, custom items, removed items, and progress may be saved in your browser so you can continue your list later. This information stays associated with that browser unless a future cross-device feature is clearly introduced. If an analytics event cannot be sent, it may be temporarily queued in your browser so the core experience keeps working.
Anonymous usage and recommendation feedback
BudgLife may collect limited usage events such as which tools are viewed, whether questionnaire steps are completed, whether a list is generated, broad budget ranges, which features are used, which recommendation categories receive shopping clicks, and whether a list is reported as helpful. BudgLife may also record a broad referral source—such as Google, Bing, ChatGPT, another website, or a direct visit—and standard campaign labels when they are included in a shared link. The full referring page URL is not stored in general analytics.
A random identifier may be kept only for the current browser tab to connect anonymous events into a visit-level funnel. It is not intended to identify you and is not used for fingerprinting. Analytics uses broad budget ranges rather than your exact budget.
Custom-item feedback may include the item name, category, priority, estimated budget, and relevant setup type—such as pet type, vehicle type, or apartment type. Shopping-button events may include the tool, recommendation, category, spending preference, and whether the item was generated or added by you. BudgLife uses this information in aggregate to improve future lists and shopping recommendations.
Microsoft Clarity
BudgLife uses Microsoft Clarity as an optional analytics and usability service. Clarity may collect interaction information such as page visits, clicks, scrolling, and session activity, together with general device, browser, and session information, to help BudgLife understand how the site is used and improve the experience.
Clarity is not required for BudgLife to function. Clarity starts with analytics-cookie storage denied. If you accept optional analytics, Clarity may use cookies to connect activity across pages and sessions. If you decline, Clarity remains in limited no-cookie mode. Contact-form fields are explicitly masked, and Clarity masks input and dropdown values.
You can change your choice at any time using Analytics settings.
Contact form information
When a Contact form message is successfully submitted, the email address, subject, and message you voluntarily provide are sent to BudgLife so we can respond to your inquiry. Contact form content is not included in general analytics.
What we do not ask for
The feedback and analytics tools do not request your full name, address, phone number, date of birth, payment information, email address, or Amazon account details. Events are not intentionally connected to personally identifying information.
Amazon links
BudgLife may use Amazon Associates links. As an Amazon Associate, BudgLife earns from qualifying purchases. Amazon search links include BudgLife's Associates tracking tag but do not include BudgLife analytics identifiers or personally identifying information. Amazon's own privacy practices apply after you leave BudgLife.
